Richly infused with oils, Chromexcel is known for its soft feel and deep, distinctive color.
A leather with a completely different character from Buttero.
PULL-UP
オイルをたっぷり含んでいるため曲げたり押したりするとオイルが移動し色が明るく変化します。
クロムエクセルを象徴するプルアップと呼ばれる表情です。
Rich in oils, Chromexcel changes color when bent or pressed as the oils move within the leather.
This distinctive effect is known as pull-up, one of Chromexcel’s defining characteristics.
AGING
使い込むほどに艶が増しバーガンディの色にもさらに深みが生まれていきます。
傷や色の濃淡も馴染みながら、その人だけの表情へ。
With use, the surface develops a richer luster and the burgundy color gains even greater depth.
Scratches and variations in tone gradually blend together, creating a character unique to its owner.
EDGE
柔らかいクロムエクセルは、その特徴に合わせて製法も変えています。
床面を磨いて繊維を引き締め、コバは本磨き仕上げ。
特殊なワックスを熱したコテで焼き入れながら、何度も磨きを重ねて仕上げています。
Because Chromexcel is softer, we adjust our construction methods to suit the leather.
The flesh side is polished to tighten the fibers, while the edges are finished with our full polishing process.
A special wax is worked into the edges with a heated iron, followed by repeated polishing.
