イタリア・Walpier社が手掛ける、植物タンニン鞣しのショルダーレザー「Maremma(マレンマ)」。
BUTTEROと同じ鞣しの下地をベースに、より多くのオイルをじっくりと浸透させた革です。
しっかりとしたコシを残しながら、しなやかさと弾力があり、オイルを多く含むことで生まれるプルアップも大きな特徴。
023は赤みを含んだ深いブラウン。
使い込むほどに艶と色の深みが増していきます。

MAREMMA / 023

Maremma is a vegetable-tanned shoulder leather produced by Walpier in Italy.
Based on the same tanning foundation as BUTTERO, Maremma is infused with a higher amount of oils, giving it a supple feel, firm body, and distinctive pull-up effect.
023 is a deep brown with warm reddish tones.
With use, it develops a richer color and a deeper natural sheen.


PULL-UP


Maremmaの大きな特徴のひとつが、はっきりと現れるプルアップ。
革を曲げたり押したりすると、内部のオイルが移動し、その部分の色が明るく変化します。
オイルを豊富に含むMaremmaだからこそ楽しめる、表情の大きな変化です。

PULL-UP

One of Maremma’s defining characteristics is its pronounced pull-up effect.
When the leather is bent or pressed, the oils within the leather shift, causing the color to become noticeably lighter.
This dramatic change in tone is a distinctive characteristic of Maremma’s rich oil content.


AGING


使い込むほどに艶が増し、023の赤みを含んだブラウンは、より濃く深い色合いへ。
細かな傷や色ムラも徐々に馴染み、Maremmaならではの奥行きのある表情へと育っていきます。

AGING

With use, the surface develops a deeper sheen, while the warm reddish brown of 023 becomes darker and richer.
Small scratches and variations gradually blend in, developing the deep character unique to Maremma.

オイルを豊富に含むMaremmaは、コバにも独特の深みが生まれます。
磨きを重ねて繊維を締めることで、滑らかで重厚感のある艶へ。
023の赤みを残した、深いブラウンのコバに仕上がります。

Rich in oils, Maremma develops a distinctive depth along the edges as well.
Repeated polishing tightens the fibers, creating a smooth, rich luster.
The warm reddish tones of 023 remain, giving the edges a deep brown finish.
